Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices. To make this notice easy to find, we make it available from every page on our website.

Information Collected for Do-it-yourself Kit and e-Book Purchases

Except for collecting the email addresses of customers who purchase a do-it-yourself kit--information we need for sending the customer an email message with the instructions for downloading the purchased ebook--we collect no information about individual website visitors.

For example, when you click one of the Buy Now buttons that appear on individual pages within the web site, just to be quite clear, your order information is not collected by this website. Rather, the PayPal.com website processes your payment information (which might include bank and credit card information). Paypal then sends your email address to us so we can send an email message to you with download instructions. Paypal also causes a webpage from the www.e-junkie.com website to be displayed so that you can directly download the digital product you've purchased.

Information Collected for Document Preparation Services

In the past, we have prepared incorporation and LLC documents. (We discontinued doing this in 2010.) But if we prepared incorporation documents and related tax forms (such as the SS-4 Application for Employer Identification Number) for you in the past, we collected all of the information required to prepare those forms. This information included names, addresses and social security numbers of the principal shareholder(s). In order to improve the quality of the tax documents we prepared, we would have used a CPA from Stephen L. Nelson, CPA, PLLC (an affilated entity) to review the tax documents. Obviously, this means the CPA who reviewed the document would have seen name, address and social security information about the principal shareholder(s).

Note, however, that we do not and the affiliated CPA firm does not keep copies of your information or the paperwork we prepared for your incorporation. After we transmitted the documents to you, we deleted electronic documents and shredded any paperwork related to your order. Our accounting system, however, does keep a record of our invoice to you and your payment to us.
