We next perform a name search of your state's corporations database to minimize the chance the name you select for your limited liability company is already being used. After we complete that research, we prepare your articles of formation and then deliver both the articles document and a sample LLC operating agreement to you by email.

You'll then sign and either mail or fax the paperwork to the appropriate government agency. Usually a few days later (often in two or three days) you'll be notified that your limited liability company has been created.

An Extra Step for Some States' Business Owners: The states of Arizona, Georgia, Nebraska and New York may require you to buy an advertisement in your local newspaper to notify people about your new limited liability company.

$199 Premium LLC Formation Service

Our $199 premium option includes everything in the economy option: a name search, preparation of the articles of formation, and a sample limited liabilty liability company operating agreement. In addition, with the $199 premium option, we also prepare and arrange for a CPA to review the SS-4 Employer Identification Number application for your new limited liability company.

You need an employer tax identification (EIN) number if your LLC will employ people or if your LLC will file a partnership tax return because the LLC has more than one owner or a corporation tax return because the LLC has made an election to be treated as a corporation for tax accounting purposes.

Note: To prepare your SS-4 Employer Tax Identification Number application, we will need to obtain a social security number from an LLc owner. Our policy is to obtain this information from you via telephone. If you wish, we can also provide the almost complete SS-4 form to you with the SSN and then you can fill in your SSN number yourself.
